Mike and Molly Gregory began Creative Trivets Too! in the summer of 2015. Following in his parents crafting footsteps, they partnered their business model initially with the same Trivet and Cutting Board shapes which had a proven success. On the first weekend in October, 2015, Mike and Molly entered the Claybank Festival in their hometown of Ozark, AL. Since that day, they have done Arts and Craft shows in Alabama (Cottontails & Christmas Village, Birmingham; Jubilee Festival, Daphne), Georgia (Cotton Pickin’ Fair, Gay; Dogwood Festival, Perry; Yellow Daisy Festival, Stone Mountain Park), North Carolina (Sourwood Festival, Black Mountain) and in Florida with American Craft Endeavors and Sunset Productions (The Villages, Venice, St Pete, and Anna Maria Island) as well as local shows through area Chambers of Commerce or Communities. Their craft utilizes countertop material which is fall-off or extra material, which unless transformed, is ultimately heading to a landfill. Unlike granite countertops, solid surface is man-made and takes years to deteriorate in the landfills. Creative Trivets Too! transforms these fall-off pieces into hand-crafted, practical Trivets and Cutting Boards.
