32nd Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival (Dunedin, FL)

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm

Welcome to the 32nd Annual Downtown Dunedin Craft Festival. Please read all information below to help the show run as smoothly as possible.

Set-up

Do not arrive on site before 4:00 AM. Setup will not begin until the barricades are installed and staff has given the O.K. If the barricades are not in place by 4:00 AM, you are still not permitted to set up. There will be NO exceptions. Future permits depend on your compliance to this. Do not remove, touch, or adjust any barricades. In Dunedin, this is considered a ticketable offense.

Check in is at Douglas and Main. Set up begins on Saturday at 5:00 am. All vehicles must be out of the show area by 8:30 a.m. Set-up must be completed by 9:15 a.m. You must have your vehicle come into the show site THE LEGAL WAY OF TRAFFIC!  You should bring a dolly. No awnings per the Fire Marshall. Your booth display should match the booth display picture that was submitted with your Zapp or paper application. There are no exceptions to this rule. If you have any display changes prior to the festival, you must resubmit your booth image for approval. Feather banners are not permitted.

We have received several complaints regarding the amount of on-site storage at many of our event locations. Cities, police, fire and merchants are all complaining of obstruction and safety. It is essential to minimize your storage space for this show and all future shows. Please place any empty packing materials, as well as “extra” back stock in your vehicle. If you require additional storage, consider configuring your booth to accommodate what you need. The properties are no longer allowing storage items, boxes, and bins scattered around. Smaller carts with fitted covers are permitted but may need to be stored away from your booth. Additionally, boxes and crates cannot have tarps or other materials draped over them. Some crafters have used high quality grill covers, however be sure to measure prior to ordering. Our events take place in upscale areas, and both properties and merchants expect a tidy appearance. Please keep this in mind while setting up and only retain what is necessary for the duration of the show.  For you and your neighbors’ safety, your booth, display and art must be properly weighted and secured (40lbs per leg required).

Breakdown

Breakdown will begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, but vehicles will not be allowed in until the show coordinator gives the O.K. Your vehicle will not be allowed in unless your display has been completely broken down and is ready to be loaded into your vehicle! Although security will be provided, we strongly urge you to take your items out of your booth on Saturday night. Everyone is responsible for cleaning up their space at breakdown (i.e., cable ties, cigarette butts and garbage).

Port O Lets

Located at the train museum (349 Main Street) on side closest to the Pinellas Trail, next to the public bathroom. As well as in the parking lot next to Mango and Marley Restaurant (506 Main Street).

Parking

All parking (including overnight) is on the NW corner of Virginia Street and New York Avenue. The lot belongs to Mease Dunedin Hospital. The hospital has several lots: be sure to use only this lot. All motor homes must be grouped together. No parking until after 6pm on Friday.

RV & Overnighter Etiquette

No outdoor cooking, no dumping of any kind, no parking until after 6 p.m. Friday, and absolutely no Sunday night overnight parking.  These rules will be strictly adhered to. Because parking space is at a premium, all trailers should be detached from your vehicles and placed in a parking stall. All RVs must be stacked into a parking spot as tightly as possible. Our properties do not want RVs that are loosely packed across 5-6 parking spots, taking up all the room.

Parking Permit

Parking permit (included in your email confirmation) must be displayed in your vehicle’s front windshield, identifying yourself as an art festival exhibitor. Failure to do this will result in ticketing or tow.

License plates

Please be sure we have your current license plate information. If you are renting a vehicle this weekend, please email us the plate number and state. We keep license plate information on file in the event we need to ask you to move your vehicle before it will be towed. If you have someone helping you with set up and breakdown and they have their own vehicle, they must abide by our rules and park in exhibitor parking. Please be sure to inform us of their license plate information as well.
