My name is Valerie G Henry, I'm a professional wild mustang photographer and have been enthralled by wild horses ever since I can remember. I was born in Paris, France and grew up in Montreal, Canada. My home-base is everywhere and anywhere and at this time in my life, my husband and I are travelling full-time documenting the wild mustangs in America.
My perspective is what sets me apart, I look for the scarred mustangs, the subtle communication between each being, the tender moments, the playfulness, the tolerance of their life, the simpleness of it.
I have dedicated my work to North America's wild mustangs to portray them as raw as possible.
It is my hope that through my work you will experience the spirit of the wild mustang and will be compelled to join me in the quest to create a world where wild mustangs and burros can live as nature intended, wild and free…
I am a proud supporter and donate a portion of each sale to organizations that rescue wild mustangs and burros form abuse and BLM holding facilities.
