Artist Highlight

We reside in Lititz, Pa. and enjoy doing several art shows in the area and on the east coast each year where we try to stay an extra day to photograph different subjects from that area. We are mostly self taught but have taken some classes in photography and photoshop and love learning new techniques to hone our skills. Some of our ideas for shoots may take months and even years in the planning to get the right conditions for the results that we are trying to achieve to convey a story or emotion that we want our viewers to share with us. Of course, we go on fun spontaneous outings also to see what we can find and love shooting in our home town. I believe what separates us from other photographers is the individual skills each of us brings to our artwork and our hours of working in photoshop sometimes on one individual image to get the most from that particular image that will compel our viewers to step into the image along with us. We also do our own printing on canvas to make gorgeous gallery wraps on a thin lightweight frame to achieve a modern sleek look that is ready to hang. This is something that only a few photographers do (printing, coating, and stretching with their own hands over wood frames) to make their own gallery wrapped canvases. We are very proud of this feature that gives our friends and customers a very individual and truly handmade piece of artwork
