The artistic bug bit Steve in his mid-teens watching his dad paint Florida landscapes. His dad could tell that Steve had an artistic curiosity, so he set him up with an easel, paints, brushes and canvases. Steve spent hours painting, studying composition, colors and lighting. He even sold a couple of paintings before his 21st birthday!
In college, Steve studied Art, business and IT. Most of his adult life was spent in a rewarding consulting career. His passion for art continued and in recent years, he spent his free time learning the technical side of photography equipment and software, along with developing his own unique photo shoot and post-processing workflows. Now Steve is pulling together his knowledge, gained from studying art during his teens, along with his photography experiences. His favorite subjects to photograph are the Big Cypress National Preserve, Everglades National Park, Florida beaches and the Florida Keys.
