Artist Highlight

Raul graduated with honors at the Fine Arts Academy “Eduardo Abela”, La Habana, Cuba. At the age of 13 he made his first exhibition debut at the International Book Fair of Havana. He has illustrated over 30 books published in Cuba and the United States. His works are found private collections in Cuba, Germany, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Costa Rica and the United States. His work has been exhibited twice at The Lemon Grove, bar gallery of Youngstown, Ohio. In 2012 he was invited to the event “Un Norte al arte”, in Tijuana, Mexico. He has been selected twice as the Guest Artist at the Annual Gala of the Association of Cuban American Accountants. He is considered one of the most talented exponents among the new generation of Cuban artists. He currently resides in Hialeah, Florida.​
