Artist Highlight

Pamela LoCicero is mainly a watercolor painter and has been a watercolorist the more than 30 years. Primarily a landscape painter her most re-occurring subjects seem to be rocks and water, two eternal elements. The many of her current works being done are in an abstract style using mixed media and collage.

She was born and grew up in New York State and moved to Florida to attend college in Miami, where she received an Associate of Arts degree Interior Design, she also studied architecture in Miami, Florida.  Art has always been an important part of her life and she has used her knowledge of it to help her clients with selecting either her paintings or the painting of others to enhance their interiors. 

Pamela has had the privilege of taking workshops with accomplished artist such as– Judi Betts, Gerald Brommer, Tom Lynch, Fred Graff, Charles Reid, Margaret Martin and John Salminen. She has also studied for several years with Steve Carpenter a world renowned artist who teaches in Rochester, NY.

She is currently a member of the Central New York Watercolor Society. She is also one of the founders of Western New York Women’s Art Group, a small group of women artist with similar ideas and feelings for creating and displaying art. Being a member of various groups Pamela has exhibited at various locations including the Edith Barrett Gallery, Utica, NY and the Cooperstown Art Association in Cooperstown, NY as well as in the Rochester area. She also been participates in juried outdoor art festivals such as the Rochester, New York’s Memorial  Art Gallery’s Clothesline Festival, the Corn Hill Festival, the Keuka Arts Festival in Penn Yan NY and the Lewiston Art Festival in Lewiston, NY.

Pamela has art work in many homes and businesses from New York State to Florida and Texas and Germany.
