Artist Highlight

I began my career as an artist over 30 years ago in my native country of Chile. I have worked in many mediums over the years but jewelry has always been my passion. My aim is to create unique yet wearable pieces of jewelry utilizing high-quality, unusual stones and unusual combinations of stones, both precious and semi-precious.

Over the years, my pieces have become more and more elaborated, requiring more and more time to make each one. Since I personally do every step of the process on every single piece from start to finish, Though I had been selling my jewelry at various types of shows in Chile, Spain and Brazil, it wasn’t until I met my wife, Neena, that I began doing “shows” here in the United States. That was in 2003, about a year after we moved to Florida.

Neena is American, but I met her in Spain while she was being a “world traveler”, then we lived in Brazil for about 12 years, and we finally moved here in 2002 — that’s another story though!

Sometimes people ask me, “Where do you get your ideas?” And really, I don’t know – they just come from inside me! I truly believe it is a God-given talent and feel very blessed that we are able to make a living doing something that I love so much!"
