Artist Highlight

Michael Solomon's work is an extension of himself, a reflection of his soul, his passion, his pain, his joy, and his resilience. Each piece is painstakingly executed, bold, and sophisticated. His medium has evolved over the years from mostly glass mosaics to a combination of glass and acrylic. Solomon scores, breaks and nips shards of glass into slivers. All the shards are laid out and then glued down into the veins of the painting, accentuating patterns.
