Artist Highlight

Michael has been blowing glass for 6 years, since catching the “bug” on a Celebrity Cruise ship which had 3 artists from Corning Museum of Glass giving demonstrations on board. 

Michael attended Jacksonville University for two years and then opened his own studio in Longwood, Florida, where he translated his vision into glass during the weekdays. He sells his creations at art fairs throughout Florida on the weekends. Michael is greatly assisted by his son Jason during the week, and his wife Maritta at the art fairs. Visitors are always welcome at the studio, but it is suggested that you contact Michael ahead to make sure that we will be working when you arrive.
