Michael Cade
Painting
Malinda

Michael has been drawing and painting for the last several years. Growing up with an artist mother and father has nurtured his work and helped him reach his full potential. His oil paintings are impressionistic and he draws much of his inspiration from both his parents and classical artist such as Winslow Homer, Singer Sargent, Degas, Joaquin Sorolla, Andrew Wyeth and Richard Schmid to name a few. He and his wife enjoy traveling, particularly to the National Parks to derive inspiration and subject matter for some of his works. Largely self taught, he has been surrounded by art all his life working and living in Charleston, South Carolina. He and his wife now enjoy living in the Upstate of South Carolina close to Clemson football, mountain biking and the pursuit of lake living. He has been featured in local galleries in Western North Carolina and local juried art shows. He is always up for a challenge to capture the essence  of a favorite image in  an oil painting.
