Maresa specializes in macro and long lens photography. She has photojournalism and documentary experience. Her travels have taken her around the world to extraordinary places such as the Galapagos Islands, Cuba, Costa Rica, Norway, Puerto Rico, Southern Africa, and the United States.
Since 1987, she has served as both board member and chapter president of the American Society of Media Photographers of Central Florida, and on the board of the Sarasota Audubon Society, and a founding member of the North American Nature Photographers Association.
Maresa has A.A. degree from Lake Sumter State College in Leesburg, Florida. She studied at Daytona State College in Photography, and authored Camping with Horses, A Trail Riders Guide to Camping in Florida.
Published worldwide her credits include: Audubon, Field & Stream, Living Bird, Mother Earth News, National Geographic Kids & Book Series, National Wildlife, Outdoor Photographer, Ranger Rick, and more . . . She is represented by two agencies in New York, and Washington.
She resides In Bushnell, Florida with her family and enjoys camping with their horses enjoying the outdoors.
