Artist Highlight

Lourdes Gomez is a Mexican artist currently living in Miami, Florida. She has over 20 years of uninterrupted experience which has allowed her to exhibit her work in many galleries, art festivals and successfully engage in a competitive art world. Her paintings are created on canvas. Each work of art is skillfully molded with very fine sand from the beaches of Cancun Mexico.

After reaching a unique texture and different volumes, she applies acrylics which are painted over the sand; and to finish, a protective varnish is used to guarantee top quality and durability.

For the final touch, each work of art is framed in wood and textured with Florida sand achieving a unique granulated type finish with a personality of its own.
