Artist Highlight

I want my paintings to reflect both a personal and universal experience. I paint simple landscapes that have been described as idyllic and etheral. They evolve from what I see to the emotions the images evolve.

I like to work in oils. The fluidity of the medium allows me to blend and blur the lines. This with the color, composition and use of light enhance the emotive quality of the work.

My experience as a Nurse and an Ultrarunner gives me a unique view of the world. I try to incorporate this insight into my work so the viewer can “experience” the painting”.
