From Henderson, North Carolina, Kelvin Henderson started painting at an early age. he worked for the federal government for 20 years and resigned to pursue a full time career as a fine artist. Kelvin established Fruits of the Spirit Fine Art Gallery in 1995, as a distributor of artwork and custom framing dedicated excluusively to his artwork. Kelvin has recieved numerous awards .
Atist of the year 2006 and favorite emerging artist Heritage Award 2000, Baltimore Md, first place award Jacksonville Jazz Festival 2011 and the only two time reipient of the Palette Award Atlanta, Ga. also a featured artist in Paint Magazine and Upscale magazine.
