Julia Dressler
Photography

"I started Coles Corner in 1986, where I began as a art/craft business. I have been fortunate enough to have raised my family by creating the work that I enjoy so much, for the past 29 years. Although art shows are my main business, I am also a freelance photographer for a local newspaper, as well as produce custom photography and reproduction work for individuals, businesses and art galleries.

The main body of my work is centered around American country life, mainly during the mid 1900's, revealing fragments of our history, and the way life in America used to be.

I produce my unique pieces by using settings and filters on the camera and the individually filtering each piece. I strive to create a "dreamy" feeling to each piece tha makes you feel as though you could walk into them. I then print each piece onto archival, museum quality art canvas, the stretch them onto and seal them with moisture and UV shield. ON some pieces I then ass subtle acrylic highlights, then reseal each piece so all of the colors blend smoothly. I carefully frame each piece to match the subject, or finish them in a gallery wrap.

I also produce signed and numbered "traditional" type matter prints on fine papers (all archival quality) with limited editions of 250.

Thank you, Julia Dressler".
