Artist Highlight

Jennifer Parris is a free-spirited nature lover with a serious passion for nearly all marine related activities. She’d much rather be in the ocean than anywhere else. “Nothing has inspired me more than the things I’ve seen while diving…Nature is far more creative than one could possibly imagine”

After years of working in corporate America as a marketing and sales representative she decided to leave it all behind to become an artist full-time. Her main focus/ discipline is painting with oils and acrylics on canvas. The Bright vivid color schemes that run throughout her work pop off the canvas, bringing to life images of sea turtles, jellyfish, corals, and nearly all marine themed and coastal lifestyle images. Being a self taught artist she utilizes and combines many different techniques to create each piece.

Experimenting with the latest materials and finishes allows her to incorporate natural elements into each new design. Her unique style stands out and draws viewers into each scene creating a world where the smell of salt is in the air, and the sound of waves lightly washing against the shore, leaves viewers captivated.
