Regardless of how you define yourself, I believe jewelry is a personal reflection of your beautiful self and can empower you to exude strength and confidence. Through pushing the boundaries in silversmithing and sourcing unusual gemstones, I create conversation pieces - big or small - that blend modern, organic, and southwest styles. The result is that each piece I design has a story of authentic expression. I have always taken the road less traveled, a non-conformist of sorts. Through many twists and turns, I returned "home" as I rediscovered inner creative.

As a little girl, I collected rocks, minerals, and seashells along the Northern California coast. In school I excelled in science; with a formal education in Exercise Physiology, I took a detour from stone collecting and art and worked as a full time Personal Fitness Trainer and Triathlon Coach for 18 years. It wasn’t until 2009 when I was called to pull some dusty gemstone beads out of the drawer and do something completely unrelated to work: I taught myself basic stringing and started making jewelry. At that moment, I reconnected with a part of myself that had been dormant for many years. Wanting more of a challenge, I studied metalsmithing at the Denver School of Jewelry Arts and fell in love with fusing sterling silver, which allows me to create one-of-a-kind textures. In 2014, I found myself at a crossroads: I received a diagnosis of bilateral hip dysplasia and had two periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) surgeries, so I decided to retire from my career in fitness and went full-time with my jewelry business.

I think about my story every time I sit down at my jeweler's bench to create a new piece of jewelry.  The result is by blending unique textures and metals, and gemstones, I create jewelry that reflects the road less traveled.  So whether its my Mountain Love or Personalized Jewelry collection, I invite you to explore my collections to find the piece that best connects you with expressing your authenticity.
