Contemporary fine artist Jennifer M.Godshalk has sold numerous paintings to collectors all over the world including business executives, corporations, restaurants, and Hollywood celebrities. She has exhibited her artwork in prestigious exhibitions including a solo exhibition at the Pro Rodeo Hall Of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She has also exhibited at The Madden Museum of Art, and the Beaver Creek Art Festival in Colorado.
Jennifer is a self taught artist and has taken her own leading path to develop her unique, contemporary style. She is driven by an incredible passion for self expression through her love of contemporary paintings. Jennifer's love for horses continually grows and is a primary focus in her artwork. Utilizing color and texture, her work captures the graceful, powerful movements and expressions of this majestic animal. Having been a horse trainer and owner, Jennifer knows these animals inside and out. Her daughters have exhibited and won awards during horse performance competitions, including winning grand champion all around horse performance in 2007.
Whether it be horses or other wildlife, Godshalk photographs her own images for paintings. Her latest trip to Yellowstone included scaling closed trails to seek out grizzly bears to provide numerous photos of these noble creatures which reflects her most recent artworks.
Jennifer's work conveys strong emotion and expression which reflect the struggles within her journey. She has experienced severe suffering in her life, including loosing her husband of 20 years to depression and suicide. Jennifer has taught her kids the valuable life lesson of determination, perseverance and to never give up on your dreams. Despite life's difficulties, her artwork continues to flourish. Publications of Jennifer's artwork includes prestigious magazines such as Western Art Collector, Southwest Art Magazine, and Highlands Ranch Lifestyle Magazine. Jennifer was the official poster artist for the 2014 Telluride Jazz Festival.
