I’ve always felt a deep spiritual connection to animals. As a wildlife artist, painting is my way of deepening this very personal relationship. For me, nature has always been the gateway to spiritual and emotional peace and the animal world has been my vehicle. In a world full of concrete jungles and trickery I can momentarily escape the madness into the wild and connect with nature. Animals for me have always been a safe haven—gentle spirits that are in tune to the spiritual frequency we all yearn for. When I look into the eyes of an animal, whether it’s a bird, squirrel, or elephant, I feel the universe, and know I am connected to something greater than I can comprehend. So, I paint the connections I feel, and strengthen the relationship I have found"
