Artist Highlight

Elaine Kehew is a painter living in Arlington VA. She paints interiors and still-life work with houseplants, flowers, and nostalgic imagery in a pop style. The color palette is bold, with white outlines and patterns, and prominent decoration in the paintings. Kehew studied painting and printmaking at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, and lived and painted in Kenya for 12 years before returning as an artist in the US. In addition to painting, Elaine loves tennis, yoga, fruit smoothies and the beach.
