Artist Highlight

I am a hairstylist by profession and an artist by choice. I have always tried to be creative in my life and have gone through many craft adventures. Last year while in Turkey we discovered gourd lamps while we were in a little town called Gumusluk near Bodrum Turkey. This is where people go for great food and entertainment and of course gourds.  A great town on the water with outdoor restaurants and craft vendors that were displaying the most amazing lamps I have ever seen. It is amazing that something from a vine can be transformed into a beautiful piece of art . I love working with this medium.
