Mixed Media

I live and work at my cabin in Rangeley, Maine.
Years ago I had a woodcraft business and I have always wanted to get back to this more creative lifestyle. So after spending quite a few years in product development in the housewares industry I decided to move to rural Maine to pursue my passion for creating my own original artwork and the challenges of transferring my artwork on to functional products for the home.
I now work primarily in watercolor. I try to create fresh, clean images inspired largely by nature and wildlife. In addition to producing giclee reproductions of my paintings I have developed a line of functional products that use my original paintings. My paintings are transferred on to wood via a printing process which results in a brilliant color reproduction on a highly durable surface. My current products include Tabletop items such as Table Savers (trivets), Centerpieces, Placemats and Coasters. I am currently working on both topical and seasonal collections. I am also currently experimenting with mixed media by combining painting and photography.
