Claudia Carreon
Jewelry

I make metal work using copper, brass and silver which include purses, belt buckles, scarf/shawl pins and rings, picture frames, purse hangers, eye glass pins, and some rings. My designs are one-of-a-kind. I never use molds and I make sure the pieces are lead-free. I design the pieces, cut the metal for the bases, hammer them, mold them and then cut wires, and small pieces of metal sheets to create the flowers and all the design that go on top of the pieces. I coat some pieces with a patina by using nitric acid and a torch.

I attended RIT’s in Rochester, NY for metals and jewelry and have been a creating art for 13 years now.
