Artist Highlight

Brendan Kramp is an oil painter based in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District with a studio in the Casket Arts Building. Brendan creates figurative and abstract paintings that begin with original drawings and photographs taken in urban interiors and settings with a focus on strong lighting contrasts and characters that suggest a larger narrative beyond the picture. He has exhibited at several venues in the greater Twin Cities metro area in addition to national shows in Chicago, California, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Texas, and New York.
