Artist Highlight

Native Texans, Barbie and jimmy Holton are lifelong learners and enjoy new challenges together.  Educated at the University of Houston, they have experienced diverse directions in life.  Art, business, sailboat racing, sales, education, real estate, and children have all found places in their busy schedules.  With a background in various fine arts and crafts since childhood, Barbie is constantly taking them in new directions.  With Jimmy's innate gift of design, they make a dynamic team.  Currently, they are active members of the American Association of Woodturners, Hill Country Turners, American Gourd Association, Texas Gourd Association, and Kerr Arts and Cultural Center.  Jimmy is serving as President of the Texas Mesquite Association.
