Artist Highlight

Learn and play sells only educational, machine washable fabric books, toys, and other unique baby gifts. It is a small family business that was started by two generations of seamstresses who designed and created everything from potholders and Christmas ornaments to tablecloths and quilts, all beautifully hand and machine embroidered. In the early nineties, mother, a pre-school and elementary teacher for 32 years, and daughter, originated the idea of educational fabric books and toys for children under 6 years old. With the help of a couple family members who worked in the embroidery trade, they were able to include machine embroidery on their designs. 

Since then, they have developed a range of colorful and unique books and toys that they hope your child will enjoy while learning new skills.
