Ana Jones has been on the art scene for years now and is based out central Florida. She has been married to
Ana Jones has been on the art scene for quite a while now and paints happily out of her home in Longwood, Fl. She has been happily married to Rick for 23 years and he is her biggest fan. He talks about his wife and her art to everyone he meets. They have two children and two fur babies.
Ana was born in Puerto Rico but moved to the states at an early age. She moved around most of her life till she found the perfect setting for Rick & her here in Central Florida. Having had a difficult and tumultuous childhood Ana spent a lot of her troubled times in her imaginary world which is where she draws from for her bright colorful pieces.
In this new “Bursts of Color Collection” she uses Alcohol inks with their vibrant colors to allow her to tap in that bright world and pull out the most colorful paintings of whimsical creatures that are just bound to make you smile. With each work of Art, she swirls and dabs the inks onto yupo paper till she is satisfied with painting. Her body of work is limitless and she transitions from animals to flowers and people with purpose and ease.
