About Southworth&Hyacinth

I started this business in the winter of 2014 when I received a batch of vintage jewelry from my great-grandmother (Hyacinth).  I began to re-purpose these gems and bring new life to them by adding antique components from outside sources. I didn’t begin selling these items until March of 2015 - and by then I needed a name.  “Southworth” is a family name whose source comes from my great-grandmother’s ancestry, and seeing as how it is also my middle name, it fit perfectly for the business.

What started as a small table draped in purple velvet soon became a running business. I integrated crystals into my designs after stumbling upon a shop named “Bright Blessings Boutique” ,tucked away inside of an antique shop in my hometown (Fredericksburg, VA). By the end of that summer, my newfound love of crystals took over the shop.

I graduated college in 2017 with a BFA in Musical Theatre (see more at analisawall.com!) and was finally able to run Southworth&Hyacinth full-time. Since then, I have managed to balance a theatre career with a pop-up shop every weekend! With the help of my fiancé James, we strive to connect with as many people as possible up and down the east coast. Our mission is to change the stereotype surrounding holistic wellness and crystals, bringing this art form to a wider audience.
