We've Heard It All Before

Oil and Lies on Canvas. This painting spun out of watching a few too many of the political debates. At the time I painted this the candidates were down to 6 Republicans and 2 Democrats. Actual quotes from each candidate swirl from the mouth of the bull horn as the tape deck plays the same ol lines we've heard before. If you look closely you will notice the word YOU in bold text is scattered throughout the verbiage... this is because YOU are in the middle of all this, and THEY are after your vote any way they can get it.
