"A talented and experienced artist, MaryAngela has spent her 30 year career painting compelling photo realistic natural subjects and landscape in a range of mediums ,including oil , acrylics ,watercolors  and pen and ink. .Educated in her home state of Ohio ,MaryAngela was a fine art major at the University of Toledo. She is a past member of the Toledo Artist Club, having exhibited her work in member shows as well as at the University sponsored shows.

An accomplished muralist for 27 years,  she worked together with her husband Dave creating hand painted murals and Trompe L'oeil for residential and commercial clients. Exhibiting in juried art shows since 2009 has given her the desire to change course in how to present her work to the public. A gallery has been opened in Palm Harbor where she produces and exhibits her work for public viewing.

Mixed Media is now her media of choice . Living on the gulf coast provides the inspiration for the themes of her current work.   Endless possibilities are possible by combining several forms of mediums to create the tactile surfaces and scenes found  in  "Textured Treasures".  The viewer is invited into the scene thru the use of glazed or painted stone ,together with embedded found objects on wood panels that are framed in white floating frames to complete the experience. . This is a  unique 3d concept developed by MaryAngela.  Various subject matter depicted in 5 seperate series gives her clients ample choices for their consideration. She welcomes custom work which allows her to work with the clients personal preferences with regard to size, colors and subject.

She has begun offering classes to those interested in developing skills in acrylics, mixed media and Trompe L'oeil".
