Artists Kim Scheft and Lee Anderson are sisters who reside in South Florida. They share this bond that always keeps them close, even during times of great distance. It is a bond of love, respect and acceptance.

Kim graduated from the University of Kansas in 1977 with a degree in education. After graduation, she moved to Mexico City and then to San Antonio, Texas, where she met her husband. They had two beautiful children; a boy and a girl. When the family left Texas, they headed for Florida where still Kim resides today. Lee met her husband in Kansas and relocated to Endicott, New York. There she attended the State University of New York, Binghamton, graduating in1988 with her degree in Business. Leaving New York she traveled to San Antonio to be near Kim. When Kim's family moved to south Florida, Lee tagged along.

After living in Florida for a few years, Lee went to Jacksonville where she remained for 16 years until she returned to Kansas City. Living there for 5 years was enough, so she moved back to Florida to be closer to her sister, Kim.

Kim came to Lee's house where she saw a beautiful bowl made of polymer clay sitting on her table. Looking at that bowl gave Kim an idea. She announced, "I bet we can make something as creative like that." Well, that started the wheel turning. They went out, got supplies and started creating their own bowls and vases. Each piece got more creative and detailed.

Today, each artist has developed their own style of artistic work. Lee leans toward the abstract.  Her "Booga People" series was the beginning, and now has branched into further abstract pieces influenced by Picasso, Steven Scott and Tom Fedro.
