Debbie Marucci

Debbie has been making art her entire life and has experimented in a variety of mediums. The theme of her work has always been COLOR. Currently she and her husband, Len, are creating jointly mixed media pieces that include metal (either aluminum or stainless), wood, canvas and acrylic, and automotive paint.

Another part of their work is purely sculpture, which incorporates Debbie’s designs with metal fabrication that includes 2- and 3-D metal art, 3-D sculpture in the round, and furniture. All of their metal work can be placed in an interior or exterior environment as it is painted with automotive paints and sealers.

Debbie studied fine art at Youngstown State University, graduation with a BFA and then went on to teach art in the Youngstown City Schools. She then began post graduate classes for Art Therapy at Ursuline College in Cleveland Ohio. She has worked in the field of art for many years, from teaching to mural work and mall and store display. Currently, some of their work is included in Public Art throughout the country, including Raleigh, NC, Boynton Beach, FL, and Venice, FL.

Debbie’s artwork and paintings are included in collections throughout the world. Lenny owned and operated his own bridge construction company for many years and now is enjoying creating and welding that makes people smile!
