Artist Highlight

"Carol Joannidi of Little Cat Metals was raised on Martha’s Vineyard surrounded by educators, artists, cooks, storytellers, and other creative riff-raff. Classically trained in metalsmithing at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. Carol strives to create lightweight but durable designs using positive and negative space that are timelessly modern. All work is hand fabricated with recycled American metal using traditional metalsmithing techniques. Stone setting is always done by hand and each bezel is custom made by Carol for the unique stone used. Designs pull from nature, math/science, and her surroundings. She currently resides in the wilds of Western Massachusetts".
