Tango Crossing

This one-of-a-kind collage has two inspirations; the tango and my mentor, Miriam Shapiro, from whom I learned this technique when I was her studio assistant. The central figure is a paper lithograph colored with acrylic paint made from a drawing I did. The background was built up with many layers of paint and patterned papers. The piece is sold mounted on a black mat in a black metal frame.
