Arleen and Michael work as a team in the design and creation of their line of handcrafted stained glass art jewelry. Arleen has been an artist all of her life. For many years she filled her palate with various paint mediums and, now, she paints with glass. “Glass gives me boundless artistic potential. With an unlimited array of hues, textures and patterns, I am able to produce one-of-a-kind creations. I recognize that I am creating each piece for a special individual. It is such a joy when the jewelry and the person come together.”
"When we first started working with stained glass, we were creating large window hangings. Much of the work was inspired by nature: the colors, the movement of water and the ever changing spirit of the mountains during the four seasons. On several occasions it was mentioned how much our large window hangings resembled beautiful jewelry. This was the genesis that gave rise to our miniature stained glass windows to the soul."
When not traveling and showing their work in art shows, Arleen and Michael reside in the north Georgia mountain town of Jasper on Lake Tamarack, an hour north of Atlanta, GA. They have four wonderful children, Brian, Adam, Marisa and Josh and three adorable grandchildren, Hannah, Sarah and Max.
