Painting

Art has been the one constant in my life. It is a means of expression and a way for me to share my passion with others. I am very blessed to have this gift and I am grateful to those that have already made my work a part of their lives. I have always believed art to be a way to share joy and bring happiness to those around you. There is something about looking at a painting that speaks to you that is unparalelled.
My art teacher in the 9th grade was the first to put a paintbrush in my hand. Prior to that I mainly did crafts projects and sketches. It is to her that I owe my painting career and passion. Having graduated from the University of Miami with a BFA and a minor in art history, I owe my college days to helping my style flourish into what it is today. I draw inspiration from the impressionists, and the flatter styles of the post-impressionists such as Gauguin and Cezanne. I combine these 2 distinct styles into one creating one dynamic piece that borders on the brink of 2-D and 3-D art. I mainly work with oil paint but have created art pieces in various mediums.
