This coming season, one of our most popular shows has a brand new location in a familiar area. The 18th Annual Alexandria Old Town Art Festival, formerly the King Street Art Festival, is moving less than 1 mile from the original location to John Carlyle Square. Located off Duke St. next to Whole Foods, this beautiful space, only 2 blocks from the famous King Street in the heart of the Old Town district is close to the King St. Metro station and features a park-like setting perfectly situated to host this spectacular event.
Having grown to maximum capacity each year, the city and the Old Town Associations feels the new location will provide a solution to the challenges faced with the intense traffic and parking for both artists and patrons alike. Along with an extensive media promotion campaign, we will retain the full support from the city, Visit Alexandria and the community moving forward, and we look forward to our astounding artists joining us in this beautiful location September 12th and 13th, 2020.
The application deadline is May 1st, 2020.
