Graduated from Indiana State University with a degree in Industrial Arts Technology and was involved in the industrial air moving and manufacturing industry for 30 years. During that time, he studied furniture and design and dabbled in arts and crafts.
In 2003, he and his family moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico to own and operate story book cabins. In the process of remodeling the cabins, he started to build the furniture to provide a unique and upscale atmosphere for their guests to enjoy. The hickory stick design became the preferred material as it is extremely durable and can be bent and formed for all of the various pieces of furniture.
