After a successful career as a Sheet Metal Journeyman, Kurt Ruby decided to combine his artistic talents and love of Nature with his knowledge of metal smithing and founded Kurt Ruby Copperworks Inc. in 1994. Kurt is carrying on his family tradition as a third generation coppersmith. He has developed his own unique style and processes using the same tools his Grandfather used years ago.
Traveling to the juried fine art festivals across the country, Kurt has developed a strong following of collectors. Having shown his art in galleries across the country, accepting commissions, he remains excited to explore new ideas, push the limits of combining new materials to create his dimensional, moving sculptures.
