Artist Highlight

Chris Fitzgerald is a modern metal sculptor, his primary medium being steel.  Born and raised in Pennsylvania's Laurel Highlands region, Chris' art reflects the widely organic flow of the world surrounding him.  His unique ability to bring a natural and organic feel to such a cold, hard medium sets his work apart from traditional metal art.

 As the 8th generation in a long line of blacksmiths, Chris began working with metal at a very young age. Growing up, Chris would help his grandfather give blacksmithing demonstrations. He worked in his family's welding shop for 15 years before going out on his own. Chris has fabricated beautiful ornamental railings, rustic fireplace doors, and elaborate chandeliers.  Chris has always been captivated with art of all forms. In 2012, he decided to use the talents he possessed to create his own unique works of art.
