Alpine Sunflower

Sunflower subject composed of shed elk antler and wood inlay techniques. Color highlights and yellowing achieved by sanding, natural grains, and linseed oil. Frame and background comprised of reclaimed timber and wood. All materials in composition were collected in the wilds of the central Colorado Rocky Mtns. All other minor subjects comprised of sculpted shed antler.
